WELCOME to the Twentieth Century Club

WELCOME to the Twentieth Century Club ...
At the close of our club's fundraising season in May 2009, we had proudly raised over $5,850.00 through our various fundraisers. With these monies, we are excited to be able to donate to the following annual charities:
Waynesburg Central Playground: $3,510
Bowlby Library: $600
Special Olympics: ($348)
Corner Cupboard Food Bank: ($348)
SCES "No-Bullying" Program: ($348)
Greene County Crisis Pregnancy Center: ($348)
Southwest Regional Medical Center: ($348) Our next meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the St. Ann Catholic Church Soial Hall. It will be our annual Covered Dish dinner, hosted by Jeanette Trader and Kelly Virgin.
OUR ANNUAL "SPRING SALAD LUNCHEON", was held on April 18, 2009
at the First Assembly of God Church Family Life Center in East View. This years theme, Around the World was exciting and well presented.
The luncheon was a great success with lots of delicious food, door prizes and the Silent Auction. The financial report on this years
fundrasiers will be given at our final meeting of the year on May 14 at the First Christian Church in Waynesburg.
Everyone would like to thank Marcia Kiger, our Salad Luncheon coordinator for doing another great job with the luncheon. And
a thanks to everyone who participated in making our annual fundraiser the best yet.--->And don't forget, March is membership month!!! --->We also want to thank everyone for the
many toys that you donated for our December "Toys for Tots" drive. The
program is a great success and makes many unfortunate children very happy. --->
October is membership month, we've received three new members this month already this month, and continue to have
openings for 11 additional members. You you know of someone that would like to join our club, please contact Kelly
Virgin, our club president at 724-627-4736. --->Our club was founded in 1931 by a group of Waynesburg mothers to develop the educational, civic, and social interests of its members, to advance the welfare of the community and to promote the programs and work of women.
